The regulation establishes that, from 2026, the DPP will be mandatory for textiles, automobiles and household appliances, and will be extended to all imported products in 2027. This gradual transition represents an opportunity for companies to adapt to a regulatory environment that demands greater transparency and traceability in their products, thereby strengthening consumer confidence and improving competitiveness in the marketplace.

At etiquetaintelligent.cat we inform about the grants offered by the Generalitat de Catalunya for the incorporation of smart labels, which facilitates companies the necessary investment in technology. With a 50% subsidy on eligible expenses up to a maximum of €5,000, companies will be able to access tools that allow them to implement traceability and authentication solutions.
